UPDATE*****Coupon Code & SkyAuction, where to enter code?

I have a SkyAuction question of their coupon codes. I won the Home Away from Home back in April. I still have my $100 certificate to use. I just won another one & want to apply my certificate code towards my balance & there is no place to put it?? I went to their Q&A section & it says to put it in the coupon code box on the fulfillment page. There is no box anywhere on there. Has anyone else had this problem? I won this on Thursday & have to pay by tomorrow or I forfit it. I emailed them but they will not get back to me until Monday (as per their site M-F is when they usually answer emails).... HELP!!!!! tia

OK here is my up date as of 6pm Tuesday 7/11: I have had several emails back & forth with them over the last 2 days. I just rec'd one now telling me that I would be receiving my new Cert number shortly & to visit My Vacations page. I went onto that page & there was a new & updated invoice. It showed that they applied my prior $100 travel cert & charged my credit card the difference. I never did fill out the fulfillment page. I just sent them emails explaining what I wanted done. I want to thank everyone that helped me with this. In the future, I will know to email them ASAP and not to pay them, but to inform them how I wish to pay (ie: give cert number & balance on credit card)... Now I just have to wait for my Resort code so I can book my 7 night stay.. opppppppsssss forgot to ask if $100 travel certs have experation dates.. have to email them back.

sounds like something only skyauction can remedy

if you won it on thursday, you could have resolved it on friday if you had contacted them by phone

i think they have specialists for each type of auction who can quickly remedy payment problems

I won it Thrusday & planned on paying yesterday. We had storms all day long so I really did want to start to pay for something & loose the power half way thru. I figured I would just pay today (besides the fact my credit card cut off is on the 7th.. this way I have an extra month to get up payment). I didn't think I would have any problems using my certificate. I have used SkyCash before & there was a box for it. On this win there isn't even a box for that. There is nothing but my CC info on it . I actually have till 2pm tomorrow to pay. I just hope someone there reads my email. If not, they will see it Monday & I would hope that they would still allow me my win. It isn't my fault that they don't work on weekends

I have used skycash before and could find NOWHERE to enter it. I had to call skyauction and they deducted the amount for me after I had won the auction. I was also close to the 72 hours as well and spoke to a customer serivce person. I was told that someone specific deals with that (taking skycash off an auction price). I told them I was concerned about the 72 hour thing and they reassured me that it would be fine, even if I went over the 72 hours.

Regarding the $100 certificate code, not positive but think when you are actually bidding on an auction, that is where you enter the info. Or perhaps it is located on the payment screen.

Hopefully someone will be able to confirm where the $100 certificate info. goes. It doesn't make sense you enter it at time of bid, but for some reason, I thought I saw it on this screen.

I have spoken to skyauction.com a couple of times and each time I found the customer service rep to be excellent.

Thanks... I have never spoken to them on the phone. I hope I can get in touch with someone. So far no emails back yet.
It is suppose to be located on the payment screen. Even their Q&A section says it. It tells you where to enter your code. Yet when I go to where they tell me (fulfillment page), there is no box to enter it. It just says my credit card info. If I remember correctly, I thought someone on this board had a problem trying to use one of the certificates....

I did the exact same thing. Just e-mail skyauction with the auction you won (the home and away auction #) and your certificate number (for the $100 off). I paid first, then e-mailed skyauction and they credited my card for the $100 that day or the next.

These are the instructions I received from skyauction verbatim

"For a travel auction you would enter it into the comment box when you
enter your travel details. If it is a certificate auction you would
need to email us the request. Please let us know which auction you wish to have the discount applied to and we will process it for you."

I couldn't find anywhere to put that code either!

OK..if I am reading this correct, you emailed them & waited for the response email to pay? Have they ever gotten back to you after the 72 hour payment period? I should have emailed them sooner than yesterday, but I didn't think I would have this problem. Yesterday was 48 hours from my win. Today will be 72 hours & still have not heard anything from them. I have emailed them at least 8 times. I emailed to the Support (at least 4 times), Reservations & Wining email address (at least 2 times each one). I have gotten 4 auto responses but that is about it (must have been from the Support division). I have not even gotten an email reminding me to pay I would have thought I would have gotten one of them. Oh well, I guess all I can do is sit & wait. I am not in a big rush to use my resort portion of this new win. I plan on using it for Oct or Dec (since there really wasn't much for the end of July). At the rate I am going, even if there was something for the end of July, I would not have time to get it.

Skyauction is closed on weekends, so if you win an auction on Thursday or Friday, you may not hear back until Monday or Tuesday.

I send my e-mail right after I win. Because of the type of auctions I bid on, (getaway certificate and $100 Skyauction credit) if I don't fill out the fullfillment page, they will charge my credit card automatically for the win when they finally get around to processing my auction in about 5 days. I want to get my e-mail to them ASAP so they don't automatically charge the entire amount to my credit card on file. If I don't fill out how many certificates I want, they will always process one (even though I could have chosen up to five). I have to do one at a time in order to apply my $100 credit to the next auction. Each win ends up costing only about $125. Not a bad deal.

One time, the entire getaways weeks processing department was off for an entire week after my win. I had to wait 2 weeks before I got my certificate numbers.

Your first e-mail response is automatically generated when you send your email. It will take Rose 2-3 business days to reply and say she is passing your information along to the correct department for processing. It will take a few more business days to get your certificate information by e-mail.

Since getting the paperwork can take so long, I now try to win my auctions early, get my getaway certificates, and check back often to see if anything good opens up for the weeks I plan to travel. I have planned a lot of last minute trips with skyauction, but I always had to call to move the process along faster.

Log on to Skyauction and look up your account. You will know that they processed your auction when the status changes from pending to complete.

It is hard to trust Skyauction when the deals are so good, but so far, I have never had a problem. Times may change in the future as more and more people travel and the availability of condos decreases.

When I go into my account it doesn't show any status... no pending or complete. It has to be because I did not fill out the fulfillment page which in this case is really just an invoice since there is nothing on it for me to fill out. It is all pre-entered with my name & cc info. Only thing for me to enter is the amount of trips I want. I just pm's you....
