hey guys, what do you think we should expect with this cruise? what shows may be cancelled? Can anyone tell me anything about coxumel? any good shopping there? i expect to watch all of the movies, hang in the arcade with DH, do the tours and adult programs..any reason why they would cancel the adult late parties such as 70s and 80s nights? just trying to stay positive

Not sure ganurse, but I just wanted to say I commend your attitude:wizard: :wizard: here is lots of pixie dust hoping that you and your family make some great lemonade with the lemons that have been thrown your way!

If they do it, do the Dolphins at Cozumel, at Chankanaab national park, a little expensive but a good day!

There was Tulum ruins and Xcaret on the mainland, and Cozumel ruins and beach tour, Horseback riding snorkeling golf catamaran and Atlantis submarine.

What I remember best though was pulling up against a very old and small cruise ship and we all had great pride that we were on the Magic.

Carnival was further down in another section, but our cruise director in the evening show couldnt stop poking fun at the ship next door!

Ohh I second that! Well worth the price tag! What day might you all be in Cozumel? You can go ahead and go to www.dolphindiscovery.com and look at the times an prices for the ROYALSWIM...the encounter was almost the same price and the people doing it just did not seem to having as much fun and interaction with the dolphins as we did on the royal swim...any ? feel free to ask

Shopping and dining is right off the pier; downtown shopping is just a short taxi ride and I LOVED the jeep tour (which includes snorkeling, buggy ride around the south end of the island, and lunch on a private beach.)

thanks guys, you have been hopfeul. i have nver been to mexico, and would enjoy just walking around and shopping. i am also looking foreward to time on the cruise.

what can i say? this is our vacation weeK? i want to be off work with my husband, thats what really matters. im being a little bit more optimistic than he is

Urgent

Look at the Wonder update, a poster onboard says Port Canaveral is closed to Thursday due to a blockage and the Wonder is off to Port Everglades!

Cozumel is a really fun port. There is shopping right off the ship in a mall-like atmosphere. Haggeling is a must!! I had so much fun this summer speaking in my limited Spanish to get the prices down while shopping for silver.

I've heard that Paradise Beach is a nice day trip by taxi. Many people on the boards have recommended it.

Amy, have a MAGICal time on the 4 day Magic to Cozumel. You've had a great attitude about the cruise so I'm sure you'll find yourself having a great time.

The crew will go above and beyond what you're expecting but then they do that all the time so I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time.

We did the dolphin encounter at the park and really liked it. We also spent time "roaming" around the park and at the small beach and snorkeling. There is also a sea lion show there.

There is also a miniature golf course in Cozumel run by a lady named Sally who often posts on these threads and answeres Cozumel questions. She is the one who can answer any ??'s that you have! Believe she goes by Cozumel Sally (sheis the Shirley of Cozumel for info!)

Shopping and dining right off pier. Plus we were there long enough and we were close enough that we went back and forth to ship several times.

I'm sure you will enjoy it!
