*** Upcoming 2013 Jan to March Disney Discount Offer : Details ***

I just ran the numbers from my disney visa package today. When I put in rack rate for the room, and child prices for the tickets and dining it matched to the penny.

Forgot to mention, I booked a moderate POR with regular dining.

you all rock - I come on here just peeking around to see if there were any discounts coming out for January and viola here's one!

I'm going to book with the Visa discount although I may switch if the AP discount is better.

Wonder why AS Music isn't included - any thoughts? We'll go Movies and be perfectly happy but I'm curious......

thanks!!

Congrats to the folks this works for!
Do we think there's any possibility of a discount for April 12-21? Yes...I'm aware it's school vacation week...but when else can we teachers go? :confused3

I booked this offer, with 4 nights Pop Century QSDP and 5 day MYW passes, we booked the same package before and the only difference is that I booked a preferred room with the visa discount and saved $221 for 2 people.

So excited! We just booked for 8 nights for 2 adults and 2 kids, with regular dining plan at the French Quarter, 1 day park tickets for $2416.08. We did one day tickets because we upgrade them to season passes once we get there.

This is *almost* as good as free dining, so I'll take it!

How is it different?

Right now I have AAA discount on room at POFQ for 1/2-1/7 and tickets from undercover tourist.
Is this visa promotion a better deal? Do I only have to buy one day tix to get this deal? Those tix have no expiration/ can they be upgraded later? Or should I buy park tix w/this deal and save other tix for different trip?

Waiting on hold now to apply the discount to my existing reservation, but if I'm doing the math right, it's not much of a savings for us.

We are currently booked at All-Star Movies for 6 nights with a 5-day magic your way base tickets. Total is $1700.22. Adding quick service dining plan adds $622.80 for a total of $2323.02.

At $82 per person per day for this promotion, the total is $2296.00 for a family of four, a savings of only $27.02! What am I missing here?

I'm booked with AAA and have emailed my travel agent to see if she can work the numbers for us, but in the meantime I got impatient and called Disney myself to get some idea. As of right now we have AoA for 8 nights with base tickets and dining and our total is $3700. The cast member I talked to told me that we could have the Polynesian for about $300 more!!!! I'm all about that. It's my very very favorite and never in a million years thought we would be able to afford it and with it being on the monorail makes it that much better. It isn't the stay dine and play deal, but the deal with just the room discounts. He told me to contact my travel agent and give them this specific code (which I did write down, it's just upstairs :lmao:) Fingers crossed that she can get that deal for us because I would really want to stay there!

jasonhutch try bumping up to a moderate..it was only 40$ more pp for us from pop to riverside..the value resort deals didnt seem to be as good of a deal for us.

I don't know how the math works with the $82 pp, but I called and got 6 day/6 night at Pop Century with Disney Plus Dining (not Quick Service) for $2243. Dates were 1/2-1/8. The regular price (w/o any discount) on the website is $2700, so we saved $457 (17%). Not as good as FD, but the best I could see for now.

Jan 28-Feb7. She was telling me that I can't use the T64 code w/ the upgraded dining. I think I am her the first call of the day and she hadn't even heard of the new discount code that came out today.

I think I will try to call back tomorrow. For now we are applying the U6M code... have been on the phone for 100 minutes....

Happy News. All is okay now. I just called back again and 1st thing I said was "are you familiar with the new codes that came out today?" :rotfl2: Thankfully she was and she applied the correct code within 2 minutes. FYI - the correct code in my situation was Q8T. That was for ASMusic, package w/ upgraded regular dining. The price is + $243.59 different than what FD would have been (for 10 nights), but saving $654.89 off the rack rate.

someone explain the discount to me
I have a current res at por riverside, 3 adults (my oldest is 19) and 2 children 11 and 9
I have room and tickets (non hop) booked now
what is the discount?
Do I add dining at kid cost?
better than that?
a %?
I have no math skills

This afternoon I was quoted dining pkg for POP and AS. ASwas cheaper, by the way.

Is anyone else disappointed with these discounts. 400 off for stay in AOA? that's it, free dining would save u about $1000. I guess the fall free dining might be the last free dining?

I love happy endings. YAY.

Tried to get VISA discount on Room Only at POFQ. It was only 10% off..$986 for Feb 21-25, four nights.

Have a better deal thru RunDisney for same nights, so I didn't take it.

Does anyone know if the hotels included in the RO offer are the same hotels that are discounted in the package deals???
