I got up this morning to make my ADRs for our trip. We are 90 days out today. I go online, get everything we want, then as anyone who has sat. internet knows, a thunderstorm comes through. Internet goes out. I live in rural Alabama, I think well, I have all my numbers, I'm ok. Wrong! I called Disney dining to get the tea at the Grand because you can't book it online. On hold for 22 mins. before I get a person. She was great by the way, I ask her to confirm everything I did on-line for me. Nothing comes up, not one thing. Thank goodness I called for the tea. She rebooked everything and even got a better time for one. I'm so glad I called, we would have gone down and not had any ADRs. And we have free dining. Everything worked out, but it could have been really awful.

:) I live on the MS Gulf Coast...I know what you mean. I am glad you called and figured out there was a problem before you left for your trip. Have a great time. Where did you book? We booked Ca Grill, Fulton's, Brown Derby, Boma, THe Wave, WCC, Yak and Yeti, Chefs de France, Coral Reef for our TS meals.

That storm passed over here too.

I'm happy for you that everything worked out and you were still able to get the ADRs that you wanted. :goodvibes

War Eagle! ;) We are in Hattiesburg, and when I heard the thunder last night, I was a little worried about the internet going down! Fortunately, it was up when I got up at 4:45 :surfweb: and we were able to get everything we wanted!

Glad you guys got your choices, too! I mean, we're practically neighbors, so we gotta stick together, right?!

We booked Le Cellier, Akershus, YnY, GardenGrill, Plaza, 'Ohana, and Boatright's. Most of them are new for us, so we're excited!

We got Boatwrights, Yak & Yeti, Kona Cafe, The Wave, Le Cellier this year at 7:25 not the 9:20 we had last year, and Coral Reef. We've never tried Coral Reef and The Wave. Also my DH has to do ESPN but you can't book ADRs with them. And the tea at the Grand. We are looking forward to trying some new places this year.

HLAuburn, looks like we'll be there at the same time and same place. It still storming here, coming out of Meridian right at us. And i'll forgive you the War Eagle this time,LOL. Roll Tide!

LOL.
So have you stayed at POR before? This will be our first time...we stayed onenight at POFQ before our cruise last trip, and we walked over to POR one evening and we knew we wanted to try it next trip. It looks really pretty. Did you/are you going to put in a room request?

Have you tried Boatwrights before? We figured it was too convenient to pass up, being right there at the resort. How about Yak and Yeti? I'm really excited to try that, too. Le C is always a "must" for us, and luckily we got a good time too...I can't imagine dinner at 9pm!

We love POR. We've stayed there every year since 2004. We enjoy Boatwrights and it's so easy to just unpack and walk over to eat. But it is a very big resort so there is some walking. But the resort is so beautiful we don't mind. As for Yak and Yeti, we ate there for the first time last year and really enjoyed it. Oh and POR is so pretty decorated for the holidays. We stayed in Alligator Bayou last year for the first time and liked it as well as the Magnolia Bend. So either one is ok with us.

Are you doing dinner an YnY? What time did you book? The latest time I could get for Tues Dec 1 was 4:45p. I'm assuming that's based on AK closing at 5 and maybe when Dec hours come out, it will close at 6 or 7 and later times will open up. :confused3 We'll take 4:45p but that's kinda an early dinner for us.

We got Yak & Yeti for Nov. 29th at 5:00. To be honest, I didn't even think about when the park would close. Do they make ADRs for the time the park closes? I might need to check that out tomorrow. The only thing on my mind was not getting Le Cellier at 9 like last year, LOL. When she said 7:25, I said yes Ill take it. We have The Wave on our MVMCP night, Dec. 1. We've been doing that on Friday night when we are there. But decided to change it this year. Last year our high school played in the state championship game on Friday night. My DH spent the whole night with a phone glued to his ear. It was the third year in a row for us to go and we won, so this year if we make it again, it will be on Thursday night in Tuscaloosa at BD Stadium. He can stay in the room and listen to it on my laptop! No more grumpy DH and we get to do the Christmas Party. We really enjoy the party.
