So every time I come across a post about old unused tickets the thought always pops in my head....
How many "old" Disney World Tickets are still out there that are still valid for admission, be it promotional, full value, no value, etc? By old I'm going with more than 5 years old
Is there a ticker in some "bean-counter's" office that as admission tickets are scanned goes down "Well Bill looks like we only have 10,000 stale tickets left"
Has there ever been a press-event. "Grandma Theresa today used her Disney ticket she was given when she was only 20 years old, she thought she lost that ticket but when clearing out the attic it was uncovered beneath a few dusty boxes"
I'm pretty sure this is the reason why tickets expire now after 14 days so they don't have to honor old tickets because I can't imagine having a database of valid ticket numbers for years on end.
