Unused Plastic Ticket

Hi all!

I have a small question.

Las Xmas we went to disney world. We booked a package for 7 people (room and 7 day magic your way with water pack and disney quest). and that package was paid in advance.

Last minute, one friend of mine didnt go cuz he got sick.

When i checked-in at Pop Century , they gave me 7 plastic cards.

My question is the plastic we didnt used, can be use in a future trip? The lady at the front desk told me that the ticket will expire 14 days after first use, and if i add the non expiracy option it will cost me 50 dlls or so.

I didnt add the non expiracy option but we never used the ticket also......... do this ticket can be used in the future? can i use this ticket next year, even if my name do not match the name on the resort plastic ticket??

There are 2 answers to this question.
Disney policy is that tickets are not transferable. Therefore, if the ticket was purchased for another person, it can only be used by them.
The other answer is that, being that the ticket is unused, the identity of the person using the ticket has not yet been established. If you were to use the ticket you wouldn't have any problems.

Be forwarned that the morality police will soon be chiming in on this thread, telling you that even though YOU have paid for this ticket, you are breaking the rules. Even though this doesn't affect anyone else, it does seem to deeply upset many people.

You know that you paid for this ticket, you do what you want. Don't let others pressure you into not doing what you think is best. You have the information, it's your decision.

There is no need for the morality police here.

The ticket is unused - thus it may be transfered, but only by the purchaser. Since you purchased the ticket, if you can show this, then they should be able to pull the ticket off the Key Card and make it so it doesn't have a name on it.

This is only if it is completely UNUSED. Used tickets may only be used by the same person on any and all dates - as they are NonTransferable.
