Universal Orlando has started releasing a series of photos with more details behind the theming inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

The first image from Universal Orlando is included below:

Guests strolling through Hogwarts castle will encounter the house points hourglasses. Featured in the Harry Potter films, the hourglasses record the points earned or lost by members of the four Hogwarts houses throughout the school year – scarlet represents Gryffindor, blue represents Ravenclaw, green represents Slytherin and yellow represents Hufflepuff. Inspired by J.K. Rowling’s compelling stories and characters, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is the most spectacularly-themed entertainment experience ever created.

BTW - do the hourglasses ever change? In all pics I've seen, Gryffindor is always in the lead.

The Dogweed and Deathcap storefront in Hogsmeade at Universal Orlando Resort’s The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is home to many exotic plants and flowers, including the potted Mandrake. Shown within the shop window, the Mandrake shrieks and squirms as guests pass by. Inspired by J.K. Rowling’s compelling stories and characters, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is the most spectacularly-themed entertainment experience ever created.
