Wondering if the free drink refill stations on the Dream offer unsweetened tea?? That's all we drink!

Yes, the tea at the drink stations is unsweetened. It's Fuze brand. I don't particularly care for it. So I usually brew up some hot tea and pour it over ice to make my iced tea. The tea you get in the dining rooms is brewed tea.

Yeah, I'm not really a fan of the Fuze tea either, I just drink water or the Drink of the Day. :) I Looooove the tea in the dining rooms though, I probably go through a gallon myself every night.

I do the same. I take a large insulated cup to the drink station. Make up a cup of hot tea using the DCL provided cups at the drink station. While it brews, I use another cup to fill my insulated cup with ice. Wait a bit more for the hot tea to brew, then pour it over the ice. Lasts me quite a while before needing to repeat the process.

This has always been a pet peeve of mine. Our last cruise I got our servers to bring me some extra brewed iced tea at dinner every night to take back to my room.

My husband asked our waiter at dinner the first night for un-sweet tea, and they said they don't have it in MDR's and they weren't sure if it was available anywhere on the ship at all.

Well, that's not correct. The tea is unsweetened. They don't have "sweet tea". Maybe your server mis-heard the question.

I had tea every night on several of our cruises - basic, brewed, iced tea.

I am picky about my unsweet iced tea, and I personally felt like it tasted like Fuze from room service and breakfast in the MDR 3 weeks ago on the Dream. I can't drink caffeine at night, so never ordered it at dinner time to know if that would have been brewed. The lack of brewed tea is really my only complaint on the cruise!

I'm fairly sure the iced tea in the MDRs is also the Fuze product from the soda machines. We took the galley tour on the Fantasy on our last cruise, and they had a setup back in the kitchen that was essentially identical to the drink stations in the buffet. No ice tea urn, but there was a Fuze tea outlet on the soda machine. I had also thought up until that point that the coffee they served in the MDR was brewed, because it tasted better to me. But no; same reconstituted coffee machines. Just goes to show how much expectation can affect flavor. The next time I had coffee in the MDR, it tasted just like the coffee out of the machines in the buffet. :)

I get brewed ice tea in the MDRs for lunch and dinner and only once was it Fuze. Our server said they were out of brewed but making more. It definitely tastes different (worse) so I sent it back, and they brought me a brewed glass just before we finished our meal.

I saw a tea urn on my galley tour and noted it was well marked for tea, because I really hate coffee flavored tea.

While they may serve the Fuze stuff when the brewed isn't available, it's not on the fountain service on the Magic anyway. This was on our recent Magic cruise, galley tour. The spot where the Fuze tea is on the regular drink stations on deck and in cabanas, has Fanta Ginger Ale.

I trust your photo over my memory! :) I must have missed the tea urn, or perhaps it's only at one drink station. I did see Fuze, I'm positive, but maybe they have it on one machine for the people who like it. Or maybe I'm just wrong; wouldn't be the first time.
