Hi everyone. I'm an almost newbie!!. Just returned from a week at Disney and took the tour for the DVC. Can't really decide what to do. I'm really nervous about taking the plunge. Single mom, school teacher, LIMITED budget. I really want to be able to travel with my daughter, she is 9. I've been reading and looking over the info they sent home with me. Do I buy direct from Disney or could I possibly start out re-sale? Is it safe? Is it the best way for a first timer? PLEASE HELP????!!!!!

Resale is defiantly possible, You might want to post this and read up on the DVC board. You will get all the info you need. Do some reading before you buy.

I agree, check out the dvc forums. One thing to consider....we rented points from a DVC owner for one of our vacations to see if it was really what we were looking for. It was and we bought.
