Unsure of amount in party - What to do?

On an upcoming trip to Disney World, I am not sure of the amount in our party. It is usually just my son and I. A close friend may be joining us, but she is not sure. She is having knee replacement surgery and is not sure if she will be up to going. So, should I book for two and possibly show up with three, or should I book for three and possibly show up with one less? What will be less of a headache?

Definitely make your ADR for 3. It will be much easier for you to show up and say someone in your party was not able to make it rather than the restaurant trying to accomodate an extra person, especially if you were reserved a table for 2 people.

We showed to several ADR's where my MIL and SIL didn't make it and we had no problems getting seated with fewer people.
