Unsure about dinning plan

Just booked 20 days French Quaters with duration pass and free QSDP for September 2011 but can see on some sites its dining plan for moderate not qsdp!!!!!!!!!!!!! help!!!!!! we r very confused flying virgin from glasgow scotland any info appreciated we luv disney 11th time so far

I know the plans from overseas are different from the ones here, but are you sure you only have the Free QSDP? Over here if you book a moderate resort you get the full Regular Dining Plan.

Wanted to add. I just got back from a 9 day trip with the QSDP and we were really burned out on the counter service places, even though we tried to be creative. I can't imagine doing it for 20 days!

You might want to look at the cost difference of making any changes to your plans vs. just paying out of pocket for a few Table Service meals that look good.

got free 2 week universal bonus pass and going to go to seaworld buschgardens aqutica shopping!!! etc to break up 2 much disney food etc!!! may upgrade to dining plan if dont get that plan free!!!

Not sure I'm interpreting your question right -- but if you are Port Orleans French Quarter during "free dining", then you are most definitely getting the regular dining plan for free, not the counter service. I am guessing you would prefer the regular dining plan, with Table Service meals, so I'm not sure what your question is, unless you'd rather have counter service meals. If that is the case, I don't believe you can "downgrade" your meal plan to only counter service, unless you chose to change to a value resort -- they are the only resorts that automatically get a QSDP/counter service dining plan for free. Moderates and above are always regular dining plan. Hope that helps!

we do want regular dining plan not the QSDP we stayed french quater in september 09 and got the QSDP on our booking it says QSDP but on the web site it say regular dining plan

I would contact the agent and let them make the corrections. Moderates get the regular dining for free=- Value is the one with the Quick service plan but we were able to upgrade to the regular dining for 10.00 per person per day

Keep in mind the OP is coming from Scotland with a deal through Virgin Airlines. Those can be very different from what we get in the U.S.

OP, you need to check with Virgin to see what they have to say. You may also want to ask on our UK board here to confirm what you are getting--I am sure some of their experienced planners will know about the deal you are referring to.

If you are only getting the QSDP and want the regular plan then you will need to talk to Virgin. You can't just add that when you get here, and you need to be sure that they allow upgrading with whatever offer you have.
