UnOfficial March 2012 Trip Planners Tread-DIS Meet 3/8 Info Pg 1

March 4th! Just a bit over 2 months to go!

Staying at the Pop. My parents are going too. Which was super cool, but the closer we get to the date, the more whiny my mom gets. She used to live in Orlando area but never went to WDW, as she thought it was a trap. Also, She is a ball of nerves and so attached to her dogs she is dreading the trip. Sigh. But she won't not go, so I need everyone to pray she is tolerable. LOL. I am hoping my kids' (5 and 3) joy will win her over.

Anyways, not complaining here. IT"S ALL CELEBRATING!

I can't wait to pay our trip off in 2 weeks. I am $400 short but I guess I will use the emergency credit card. We have saved for 13 months using only "found" money (garage sale, rebates, etc etc) since my hubby said we can only go again if it doesn't come out of budget. But I think saving $1600 is close enough :rolleyes1

I am so excited for free dining too!

We have ADRs at le Celier lunch, Akershus dinner, Crystal Palace, OHana dinner, Sci Fi Drive In, and Tusker Lunch!

Anyways, now that Christmas is upon us, I feel like I can really get down to obsessing over our trip!

have a great Holiday!

While I know how great the feeling is to pay off your balance I guess I am one those people who love to hang onto my money for as long as possible. So while I have the money available to payoff my balance, for our trip at the end of March, I will wait until just about the do date.

Woohoo 69 more days left until my boyfriend and I are in Disney!!!:cool1: I can't stop looking at this forum and trip advisor. Is anyone on this thread gluten free? I've been reading some kind of concerning things about wdw switching their carriers nooooo. :confused3 I hope you all have a wonderful holiday :santa:

If we had not changed resorts when the Spring Offer came out saving us over $ 1100 we would have not been paying our trip off until sometime in Jaunary on our do due date :rotfl:

 Not Gluten Free but I have read at least one account of a bad expierence at Flying Fish which resulted in the person ending up in the hospital after eating foods there that were suppose to be Gluten Free.

So, DW and I are going to WDW at the end of March. The reservations are all set and just waiting for the countdown. Last night the family was opening our Christmas presents and when it was my turn I opened a package from Daughter and Son-In-Law.....Keys to the Kingdon Tour!!! such a great gift and now I really can't wait, we have never taken a tour before...

Anyone with any suggestions??

What a fun and excellent gift! :lovestruc I would love to take that tour sometime, but I know ours won't be happening for a while - as I know you have to be 16 to take the tour, but I think it would even ruin some of the magic for me - so I really don't even want the girls taking it at 16... :lovestruc

I paid off my balance on Tuesday a month and 4 days early!!!
:cheer2:
:cheer2: for paying off your trip!!! I know how you feel, we were able to pay ours off when the new discounts came out and we switched resorts, saving us over $1100 and our balance was the only $7.66.

I been hinting to DH about upgradeing to CL but yesterday he came flat out and said he doesn't want to spend anymore $$$ so guess I will give up on that idea :rotfl:
:rotfl: Now 7.66 is a balance I like ;) Too bad no CL, but then you wouldn't get him out of the resort at all!

OMG pas you are probably so right about that, once he actually had access to the food offerings in the lounge he be good to go take a nap :rotfl:

Merry Christmas!!! Our March WDW trip is my Christmas present this year from my family, even though I knew about it early. I hope I get a WDW vacation every year for Christmas! :cloud9: We also paid off our vacation last week. I'm actually debating on moving from CSR over to CBR and get a pirate room since my boys are OBSESSED with pirates right now. Hmm... decisions! Decisions!

Congrates on paying off the trip! I think the pirates room at CBR is a great idea, seems like such a fun place to stay.

My kiddos adored the Pirate rooms at CBR -- and are disappointed I'm not shelling out extra for them in March. :lmao:

Can't wait to hear what you decide to do! :goodvibes

I'm so excited to be going with my daughter who is 6. It's her 2nd trip and it is just going to be mom & daughter! I have never stayed at one of the resorts before, but this time I have the All Star Movies resort booked.

I also have the Dining pkg Plus? where you get one sit down meal a day. Any suggestions you have for us is appreciated! I've made some reservations for dining, but I'm not real sure I'm getting good ones....... She's a picky one so I've been checking menus first.

My plan is to go to one park a day so we can go to all four. She doesn't like rides a whole lot, so we will be doing a lot of shows and characters mostly.

March 3-Epcot
March 4-MK
March 5-HS
March 6-AK

Hello  and :welcome: to the thread!

I am not the one to ask about ADRs only today I changed two of mine. I was able to snag one for 'Ohana so that caused me to have to cancell my Cape May, which I ended up booking on the night we were to go to Cap't Grill. I am sure this will not be the end of my changes, once I start there is no stopping me :rotfl:

I just read on All Ears News Letter that The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor (MK) will be closed for refurbishment from January 3 thru March 27 Previous dates were 1/9 to 3/28

Hurray for a mommy-daughter trip!!!! :woohoo: Most of the kids menus are pretty standard. However, if she's picky, buffets may be beneficial. That way, she can have a large assortment of foods to try. Plus, there are some really good character meals at buffets.

What do you currently have booked, and what are you looking for? We'd be happy to offer up whatever advice you need. :goodvibes

P.S. I'll be at MK on 3/4, as it's our "arrival day". Perhaps we'll bump into each other. :thumbsup2

Lidian - Are you still planning on doing the EMH at MK on the 4th? Since I was able to get the ADR for 'Ohana I am thinking DH and I might pop over to MK afterwards, depends on how tired we are since it is our arrival day to.
