I have 2005 unofficial guide and birnbaum 2005 from my trip last Oct.
Is it worth getting 2006 books for my August trip, or are they pretty much the same?? :confused3

Same exact boat! We were there last year and the book was great. We are going again in August and are wondering if there is any reason to do get the new books. Hope someone knows. :)

I personally did not think so. I checked both it and Passporter. I did buy the newer passporter even though I have 2005 as it is now color coded with new info and stuff added...restaurants and such. I did not think the birm. was worth it. Really just the same. Hope this helps. Remember it is only my opinion. :cool1:

Instead of buying the UG every year, I just rent it from our local library and photocopy the touring pages in the back. It is free for me to browse through and I photocopy what I need from it. :thumbsup2

We buy the UG every year we go just because we don't want to miss anything like time changes or ride information. However I have discovered it is just as easier and a lot cheaper to just check things out on the computer. I just wished WDW would publish the calendars and stuff sooner than it does.
Have fun! I am looking forward to our trip in 2007!!!!!!
