Unlocked AT&T phone with no data plan

Can anyone recommend at unlocked phone that will work on AT&T's network and will not require a data plan? Primarily for texting and I think a slider keyboard is preferred. I'm looking to spend $100 or less.

I just bought a replacement for my AT&T go-phone (I'd washed my old one). It was $75 at Best Buy. I have no contract and "pay as I go". I then called AT&T and asked the customer service guy to unlock my phone. He gave me the code to do it (I needed it unlocked so I could use the phone in Europe next week when I go away on a trip).

The phone is a Samsun A-187. No slide out, but it had a full keyboard.
