Unless it's an emergency, don't call your family or friends ....

Last season, people knew not to call me when I was watching American Idol or trying to vote. One day my friend decided to call me during the time to vote towards the end of the season, when I really needed to get my votes in for Clay. I also had my boyfriend over that day. So I had my friend on the cell phone in one hand, the house phone in the other hand trying to dial every 2 seconds, and my boyfriend there who I was also trying to talk to at the same time. If there's someone I really want to vote for this season, I'll make sure to tell anyone that calls to call back later, because trying to do those 3 things at once was hard!

I don't have to worry about my mother calling me during "Survivor" because she is almost as big a fan of the show as I am!!

Now DH's BIL on the other hand, seems to LOVE to call and bug us during the show. If DH answers it (I tell him to just let the machine pick it up) I insist that he go into another room to talk to him!!!

I won't answer the phone at all during Survivor, CSI/CSI Miami, ER or the "Monday night comedy shows" on CBS.
