Did said yes. It is one of my very favorite things at Universal.

Definitely Hall of Fame...........amazingly funny and clever show.......unique.

I've seen the show multiple times and, like you all discussed, the experience changes based on the people involved. All I know is I always enjoy the show regardless and I definitely think this belongs in the hall of fame.

Why does the show have to have schtick? Why can't it be reimagined as an actual informative show, not an act to be played?
I was actually quite disappointed when I watched it that it was essentially making a mockery of what it was meant to be.
If this was an actual, informative show, actually educating people without the bull crap lame bad jokes, I'd have loved it.

ETA. I voted no because I went in expecting it to be an actual demonstration, not a "show" to be acted

Early versions were better than the current one with the ongoing what’s-behind-the curtain subplot
Still go with a definite YES for this one

We loved the Horror Makeup Show last time we visited (in 2012) and can't wait to take the rest of the family to see it when we all come next year! :-)

My wife and I saw it for the first time on our last trip and enjoyed it much more than we expected to; however, I voted No.

I just don't see any repeat-ability value. We probably won't do it again anytime soon unless:
A. The daughters are travelling with us and they want to see it - or
B. Someone is super hot and needs a sit-down break - or
C. It starts raining heavily

For B and C, we'd have to be walking past when a show is starting, otherwise, we'd probably choose something else.

The only reason we checked it out last trip was that we were walking past just as a show was about to start. We figured it was a good chance to see it using up as little park time as possible.

I didn't remember it being nearly as 'schtick-y' in person as it was in that video clip - proof, I suppose, that the brain protects itself from bad memories ;)

As many viewers as there are for this show, I expect more people to vote on this incredibly important decision to be made.

Were you guys aware that back in the day, they used to do THE FLY transformation on stage? It was really cool. Wish they kept that part, or had an equal equivalent to a more recent film.
I was but a tween-ish durig those visits and thought it was great.

I say "Yes!" Maybe we've been lucky and had good actors. We've probably seen the show 10 times since 2002, and have enjoyed each performance. It is unique and I appreciate it offers something not found elsewhere which is intrinsically a part of the "Universal" offerings.
