What is this supposed to be?
It’s a patent for a hybrid boat/glide ride, the rumor is that they’d turn the space into a Legend of Zelda area with this ride system. Would start as a boat ride and then transition to a “flying” portion. Obviously it’s entirely possible they change gears, I don’t think they’ve done any significant work there yet.

I think one day ticket at Epic will be $200 to $250. Cheapest rooms at Helios would be $1200 to $1500 with EP and Early Admission included. The other premier hotels will not have EP and EA.
Im trying to find it, but UO released this hotel chart with the perks not long ago, and I remember being completely stumped that it didn't list Helios with express.

I think speculation was they would not have EP for a while

doesn't sound like it, they've mentioned many animatronics , usually wont have practical sets if you're using 3D screens too
I hope so, was disappointed to see the ride on the Dark Village is a 3d. Really just being selfish... progressives lenses make my 4 eyes hard to fit. I enjoy the Forbidden Journey, but cannot do Gringotts.... or really any of the 3d glasses rides that move you around a lot. if I am sitting still it is fine and can find a sweet spot, but on the ones that go fast or whip you around, I end up spending a lot of my ride time trying to keep them in place so I can see/focus and usually it is a losing situation.

It's anyone's guess but if they go based off historical patterns it won't have EP which IMO is the right move. I'm hoping they don't go the Disney route where they add a get ahead of the line way too early to too many attractions as they usually wait until the wait times are below X amount; once EP is added the standby wait tends to go up. But Universal could use this opportunity with a new park to do something different with it. Based on the ticket options not being a free for all and being in a phased approach I hope this means they will not do EP for a while.

I have a small head, while I wear contacts at the parks I do have glasses and those glasses are from the kid's section :rolleyes1 technically the ones I get are often called "adult child" size. I have motion sickness which makes 3 d stuff hard on me (though I can handle TSMM for example) but some of the more rougher rides those 3d glasses are two fold for me one in staying on my head with my small shape and two with my motion sickness. I would like it more as well if there wasn't as much 3d effects. It does feel like Universal has ebbed down on how many simulator with glasses attractions at least.

They're not going to get the $$$ room rates they want without preferential park access. Maybe an hour early opening. Maybe express with a once per day limit. Maybe a guest option of express on checkin OR checkout day.

Go back to the original front of the line access. You walk, with no wait to the load zone. You're literally next to board

Yeah, Helios should absolutely have the express pass. It would be silly if they didn't as the rates there are going to be astronomical..

The rates will be astronomical whether or not it includes EP. If you can afford to stay there, you can afford EP. But I don't think that anyone will get EP for a while after the park opens.
