My family and I are going to Universal for two days after our disney trip, and one day we're going to go to Universal Studios and one day we're going to Islands of Adventure. Should we go to Islands of Adventure the first day, or Universal Studios?

Go to the Studios first. If you go to IOA first, the studios will be disappointing.

I don't think it really matters which day, as far as crowds. Are you going on a weekend? Are you staying on US property (if so you get front of the line priveledges!) ? Do you like thrill rides?

If you like thrill rides, you may want to spend more time at IOA. Definately get to Spider MAN first thing in the AM on the day you go to IOA. You'll probably want to ride it more than once (my BF and I went on it 6 times in row early in the AM in Feb).

Have fun!!!

Are you staying at a Univeral hotel for FOTL? That is the best thing ever created, I might add.

I don't think it really matters, it depends on your family and what they are looking forward to the most. We started with Universal on the first day, then did IOA on the second, but for no rhyme or reason, really. Check out the attractions for both and see what you're more anxious to see/ride! They have some kickin' rides there. =0

I should say that if one day was, say, Saturday, and another was a weekday, then I would avoid IOA during the weekend...

Studios were fun but IOA was incredible. Make sure to see Spiderman.

We did both in the same day a few years ago but were exhausted.

Studios is amazing with the new Mummy ride and MIB(Men in Black). I could do these two rides all day.

See, I enjoyed Studios better... I'm not a big thrill ride person, though did love Spiderman. DH loved IOA better. Depends on the type of person you are ;)
