universal voucher premier parking with budget/avis?

read somewhere you can get a voucher for premier parking upgrade at universal with a car rental from budget or avis. Has anyone done this?

Not familiar with that but I don’t rent a car but use car service only

Hopefully someone will share info if they have been able to by pass the fee for parking offer with Budget and Avis

It looks like you still have to pay for basic parking but can upgrade to premier for free with a voucher

Just got back and wanted to report that no voucher was needed. Just asked for the deal and showed our Budget rental paperwork and got the upgrade from regular to premier parking at the Universal garage.

Did you find it a true upgrade? Fellow AP holders at Universal always say that Premier parking is not an upgraded parking location in the parking garage at Universal. I've never used it myself, we stay at Hard Rock but I am curious.

I'm not sure as we never parked in the regular lot to compare it to. I wouldn't pay for it but was happy to have it for free
