Universal v. Disney – A Diehard Disney [Radio] Fanatic’s Opinion

Nice, concise and some of the information I was looking for . We went on a Univerasal only vacation when DD was five--we had a blast and since DH and I did Universal in 1992 we knew it was fun, but for us combining the trip would nto be the best for us--too much to fit with small kids. We opted for a short 6 day vacation and never once felt rushed--of course there is less to do but that was not the point for us.
I've been entertaining the idea of a Universal two night three day stay at the beginning of a 2 week Disney vacation for next year and I'm about convinced. Thanks goodness you have all reminded me of the AAA thing--at first I was overwhelmed by the price for two nights (well over a $1000 for two nights since all of us are considered adults--DD11 and DS 15). I may have figure out how to manage and justify! Thanks!

when are you going to universal? we stayed 4 nights, three days and there was a deal for buy three nights and get another night free - so it was only $600 for the 4 nights - and then we bought $99 5 day tix. this was for january - $1000 sounds kind of hight for only three days.

You aren't all adults in the hotel room, adults are 18 and over. You can buy five day tickets for $99. Depending on when you are going, you should be able to find a room for under $200. Rooms were available at the Royal Pacific this year for $149.
