Universal to allow kids in free with purchase of multipark pass

sorry I should have looked at that before i posted

any how I have just booked the tickets 2 adults tickets and got 2 kids tickets free for $212 the lot plus $20 for shipping
that gets us into the 2 parks for 5 days in a row

Now the big question

what is Universal like
never been there , never really feel the need to go , we are not really into the BIG FAST rides
but for this price

Universal is awesome.

US is where you 'ride the movies', there are great rides like Twister, Jimmy Neutron, Terminator 2, Jaws, Men In Black ,The Mummy, Shrek (the best 3d/4d ride going) and plenty for the kids too such as ET, Barney, Curious George and Woody Woodpecker coaster (very similar to Goofy's Barnstormer).

IOA is more thrill rides such as Hulk, Duelling dragons, Ripsaw Falls but there are other great rides too such as Jurassic Park , Popeye's Barges (prepare to get very wet) and of course Spiderman.

Both parks are right next door to each other, you also have Citywalk which is a restaurant/shopping complex, a cinema and the advantage of a multi-storey car park.

If you ever get hooked like us, the Annual Passes are just $99 to renew.

can I just add that the charachters at IoA and US are fab, we saw scooby doo, sponge bob, cat in the cat and loads more, kids were very excited. I recommend both parks, even/especially with kids, we loved tham!!!

That's true also, have some great pictures of Joshua with Shrek and Tommy (Rugrats).

Although he is always totally oblivious to Barney at the playground, he is in such a hurry to get to the slides, understandable though it's only a 7 foot purple dinosaur

thanks for the info
been going up on the parks , if only Oct would hurry

We are going in October too Jackie. It's going so slowly isn't it?

The Universal Orlando parks are fantastic. If you go all the way to Orlando, its a crime not to visit IoA/US :teeth:

The place has a more lively atmosphere than Disney and looks every bit as good WDW. There is a lot to do, and not just thrill rides. I wouldn't even consider not going there at least 3 times per holiday. We all love them.

I tried to book this offer on-line but for some reason it wouldnt let me, so i rang Uniserval and booked it over the telephone. My only concern is he didnt charge me the $20 postage and said that the tickets would take 3wks to be delivered! I'm not concerned about the delivery time, l just hope the tickets will arrive safely :worried:

that was quick

tickets landed this morning the 9th of Feb
ordered on the 2nd

Admit one guest and no expire date :thumbsup2

no differents , can't tell :confused3 which one is the free ones and which ones are the adults

Well, I phoned Universal on Wednesday to ask for our tickets to be mailed rather than picking them up at will call. They arrived this afternoon - reckon that's pretty good at 2 days from the US :thumbsup2

Our tickets came yesterday which is great but they expire 4days after the 1st day of use! I'm sure it said on the website that the extra 3 free days never expired, anyone know? :worried:

No - the days are consecutive unless you chose the non-expiry 2 day option

If your kids are over 9, or you're not taking any kids with you, then Mousesavers.com has a link to a site where you can get 7 consecutive days of Universal park access for $104.95 including tax - cheaper than the Universal site offer of 5days for $99.95 plus tax ($106.45). If anyone has difficulty finding the site, please PM me.
