On the times we've visited Disneyland and Disney World, I've always ordered gift baskets for our son, niece and myself and husband as a nice welcome gift. The Disney Florist has some GREAT baskets. I can't find anything like that with Universal Orlando themes. I could make them, then ship them to the hotel... but that's a lot of work.

Any thoughts? We fly to Orlando on December 15, checking out on the 22nd.

Hmmmm...I'm sorry...I can't get you any advice on gift baskets. Maybe you can purchase some small items at the parks and put them together at the hotel? Maybe someone else will come along with a better suggestion.

Are you staying onsite? If so call resort & speak to concierge who likely can help you. IMO Loews concierge service is superior in the leeway they have to help guests and are happy assist guests in both onsite & offsite planning, etc.

My DS received a nice basket several years ago as a guesture of goodwill welcoming us back after a series of unfortunate incidents on previous trip @ RPH. When I called the desk they told me concierge had assembled it. It was large & had a large light up shrek cup, beach towel, gingy plush, a ball & lots of candy.

Hmmm. I recall receiving an email not so long ago about Loews offering this service. I'll search around and see what I can find.

Can't wait to see if you find anything out and I will also work on doing that myself. I don't necessarily need a basket for myself and my husband, but I'd definitely like to get two for the kids.

Thanks for your help.

i've had 'gift' items sent to my room from a friend for a surprise.

they were ordered directly from the hotel.

check out what keishashadow stated.
start with concierge at the hotel and work with them.
