I am going to Orlando and will be going to Universal Studios or Island of Adventures. Can any one give me some advise. Which park should I go to? There is me, my husband and three year old.

Where should we eat? Should I make reservations? What are the must see attractions and are there any special shows that require reservations?

What is City Walk, and is it in the parks? Can I exit the park and go back in from citiwalk?

Please help!!!

thanks

Well, there is alot at either park that my 3 yr old loved.
At Universal, he was absolutely thrilled to be able to hold the hands of Tommy, Chuckie from Rugrats, Eliza and Donny from Wild thornberrys, Curious George, his favorite "SpongeBob" and he really loved meeting Crash Bandicoot because he plays that game on our playstation all the time. He rode on Jaws and ET but that was about all the rides. He was scared of that big green slime machine in front of Nick studios. We tried to see Barney but kept missing him. Universal has a big kids area too, I think Woody woodpecker zone? but we did not go to that.
At IOA, Suess Island is wonderful, one fish, two fish, and the carosuessel are great. There is a play area with water that he really liked too. He loved the fountain last year when the man had a deep voice like the wizard fromwizard of oz. He was scared this year, the fountains voice sounded like a chipmunk.
Not to mention meeting Spiderman, and all the other marvel characters.
It really would be a hard call for me which one to take him to. Could you do both parks?
We ate at Citywalk for most of our meals, went out of park to Fridays and Crackerbarrel a couple of times which were right across from the entrance, almost.
He ate the same thing no matter where we went - PIZZA, luckily most restaurants have that on their kiddie menus.
Either way you go, he will have a wonderful time.......
You have to go through citywalk to get into either park.
Have a great time!

Wow, thanks so much, for all the great information!!:bounce:

Now I wish I had the time to go to both parks. I wish they had a one day park to park pass.

Hi Zing, there is a two park/one day pass that you can purchase but it is only about $10 cheaper than a two park/two day pass.

I think your three year old would enjoy Universal Studios more than IOA. Seuss Land is awsome - but you would be pretty limited to that area with a young child. He'll see more familiar characters at Universal as the above poster noted. If it's hot out he'll surely enjoy the Woody Woodpecker section and Barney show. Have fun!

nope the second never epires so you can use it on your next visit to universal
