Universal Studios Hollywood question?

I am going to a convention in Long Beach in July and some of my fellow travelers are wanting to go to Universal Studios while we are there. Does anyone know what kind of transportation is available to get from Long Beach to Universal Studios? Is there any kind of bus service or shuttle? I have never been to Long Beach or Universal Studios so any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not really sure, but you might want to see if Super Shuttle can do something like that for you. Personally, I always rent a car when I go to LA and the surrounding area.

As the above poster mentioned, you may want to check with the hotel, or you're travel agent if you're using one, or even the sponsors of the convention. They may have special shuttles available, or at least be able to tell you how to find one.

Also, you might want to try posting this on the Disneyland board. A lot of the people there live in Southern California and may be more familiar with what's available.

I grew up in in southern Ca and long beach is a little ways from USH, I would probably rent a car for the day, if there is bunch of you it would probably cheaper than trying to shuttle or taxi it.

I appreciate these boards so much. I was on them all the time in 2000 when I was planning my first trip to WDW and I learned so much, so when I need help again I knew I could count on getting help here.
