Universal ?'s

We leave in 20 days and I have the Disney portion of the trip all planned out but have no idea what to do with the universal side. We will be going to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure and will have unlimited park/ 2 day pass.

Where do we start? Do we start at the Universal Studios side or the other and what is the ride we head to first? We will have a group of 10 people, 7 of the 10 are roller coaster freaks.... Also, what is the ride at each of the parks that is the potential for the longest lines. ANother question is, are their single rider lines at Universal like at Disney?

We just went for the first time over Labor Day weekend. We spent two days in each park. Will you be staying on Universal property at all?
I don' think it matters what park you go to first. The new Rip Ride Rocket is a must do coaster.

If you will be there between Thnaksgiving and X-Mas, crowds should not be to bad. If you are going to Universal more than one day, it does not matter which Park you do first. Some attractions to have single rider lines. If it is crowded, these attractions would most likely have the longer waits - US Side- New Coaster, Simpsons, Mummy and Men In Black; and, IoA Side - Hulk Coaster, Spiderman, Dueling Dragons & Water Rides (on a hot day). Universal does have Express Pass (unlimited for almost all attractions if staying on-site) and once per attraction if you purchase. Its best not to purchase in advance, as you may not need it if the Parks are not crowded that day. The price for Express Pass varys depending on Universal's projection of crowd levels.

We just did a family vacation with 12 people and did Universalboth parks we were in for 3 days and did EVEYTHING......and did not stay open to close so i bet you will be able to do everything.....although it was NOT CROWDED AT ALL.....we waited th longest for the new ROLLER COASTER.....RRR....
BUT dontplan on doing this at any particular time every day we were there it took HOURS for them to open it.......not till about 10:30 or after.

Make sure to see all the shows.......They are all really good.

WE HAD A BLAST on the water rides......HOPEFULLY it will be warm enough for you to do those. EXPECT to get wet do them last.....We did themover and over......wefigured if wetmight as well just keep on.
