I popped into Thomas Cook today to get a price for universal and was told it would cost £669 for me, wife and 3 children, which seemed a bit expensive as we only want a day there.
Is it cheaper to buy a day pass when we are there or does anyone know any cheap websites?
We go end of Feb.

Gate prices are typically more expensive than UK tickets.

Try the attraction tickets direct website, I just priced them up at £505 for your family - you might be able to use Quidco/Top Cashback too.

1 dat tickets should be cheapest direct, discounts thru agents are for multi day tix.

A 1 day ticket, 1 park for 5 of you will be $481.48 incl tax or £300
Or 1 day, 2 park would be $673.18 incl tax or £420
Or 2 days, only 1 park each day $649.70 or £405

Cheaper to get the 2 day, 1 park each day instead of the both parks in 1 day option, 1 reason is they have an online discount of $100 off your 2 day option (not available at the gate) plus over 2 days they get double parking fee(if you have a car) plus double food and drink sales, more days the better for them.

The last option which I guess is what Thomas Cook want to sell you is the 14 day unlimited ticket, they will cost you around £574 which is a big jump on 2013 price, this year would cost you £468.

ATD are an expensive site now, £505 is for 2013, next Feb will be quite a lot more.

You can tell I haven't had my coffee this morning!!!

I also was assuming you wanted the extended tix :)

I've just booked 4 nights for next September in the Royal Pacific and now looking at passes.
I used Atraction World last year and never again. They are one of the ones who issue you an email confirmation which you need to exchange at a Guest Services window for the park tickets.
! hour and 15 minutes in the queue along with dozens of other irrate people in the Florida heat is not something i'm ever going to risk happening again!!!

I've thought that ATD was the way to go for the 2 park bonus ticket until i see Wayne reckoning their a bit pricey. I phoned them and was told they issue the actual tickets and you just roll up at the park entrance with them , can anyone confirm this?

Other option i found this morning was booking direct on the Universal Website in dollars who again say there you print your own tickets at home and go straight to the park entrance. Only thing is we want 4 whole days there plus a few hours on the last morning before heading off to the airport and they only seem to offer multi day tickets up to 4 days.

Whatever you do OP is make sure when you book you don't have to queue somewhere else to get the actual tickets especially as your only intending one day there.

Thanks for the tip about waiting in line, I will make sure I have the tickets before we go as that sounds awful!!
