Universal Packages?

For WDW you can book packages that include both resort room and tickets. Is this something you can do at Universal? I like the convenience of having everything paid for prior to arrival. Or would I be better served buying my tickets online and then booking my hotel separate with the expectation being I pay for my resort upon check-out? It is our intention to stay at one of the three resorts on Universal property.

Yes, you can buy it all in one package. Just go to www.universalorlando.com and click on vacation packages.

It is most often cheaper to purchase everything separately since you can often find a good deal on tickets and if the hotel prices go down, you simply call reservations and have your prices changed. You can't do this so easily with a package.

Definitely book separate. Like DAMO said, it is much easier to change your rate that way. I would also recheck your rate every once in a while as sometimes they go down and there is no penalty to change if booked separately.
