Universal newbie...question

I have an 8 day tdip to Orlando planned for September and Im considering spending a day at IOA. Never been...should I purchase tickets now or is it safe to wait until Im in Florida? With all of the Covid issues Im concerned that if anything goes wrong I won't be able to get a refund from Universal.

Buy the tickets online. They are cheaper. Get the two-park one day ticket (park to park) so you can enjoy the Harry Potter train that travels from one park to the other.
