Universal Newbie ... Landyards?

Going in August and since we'll have UEP I wanted to get some lanyards. Ones in the UO Store online are nice, but $14 a pop seems a bit much. Anybody found any good ones on Amazon they could recommend? I even saw some HP ones on Amazon though hard to tell if they're any good.

I tried cheap ones on eBay and found the plastic pouches were a touch too small, making them rip easily. I would suggest buying them on-site when you get there. The Universal ones at the parks and City Walk have a range in prices and styles - some have a three prong clasp where you can disconnect the plastic pouch, some are all one piece. Universal will also replace the plastic pouch for free if it rips.

Question--with small kids in tow, how does the deluxe resort express pass work? Do they issue extra room keys for the kids (most resorts I've stayed at will only give them to adults)?

Each person registered to the room will receive a room key. The room key is the express pass.

For example, if you have 2 adults and 2 children.. list all four people's name on the room. Each person receives a key with their name printed on the key. This is important as these keys are scanned at the rides, and they also use facial recognition photographs. They are not transferable from parent to child or vice versa. Or to anyone else besides you.

If you feel it's best, you hang on to their room key (express pass).

Thanks! Sounds like I need to get some extra plastic sleeves to clip onto a single lanyard that I hold for all the kiddos. My 4 year old would almost certainly think it is a good idea to drop his card in the lake from the resort boat launch to feed the fisheys or something similar. :joker:

Loved having a lanyard, so convenient. I thought I'd hate it or it would tug just a little on my neck and drive me crazy. We went shortly after UO re-opened for the first time. With the lanyard the employees kept asking me if I'd like to use my AP discount, which I was completely forgetting existed.
