Hi, I am in the process of planning a Thanskgiving week trip to WDW. We want to do a full day at US/IOA. I am looking at dates and wondering if we did Thanksgiving day, will it be as packed as a WDW park? I ask because the price for a park express pass for that day is only $25.99 (the lowest price). I would think the busier it was, the more they would charge if they thought the lines were going to be super long.

My questions:

Is paying the $25.99 for a park express ticket worth it? We will want to get as much in in the one day.

Would we be crazy to go Thanksgiving? (we stay out of the parks at WDW because the crowds are just so crazy on that day).

You guys could judge whether you want to buy the express plus passes on the day - you can buy them in-park from the shops at any point :) so that if the queues seriously build up, you could buy them on the spot.

Thanksgiving weekend is VERY busy and with Harry Potter open by that time, the crowds will be out in force. The Express Plus pass is a good deal if you're going during a holiday period but the $25.99 is for before Thanksgiving. I doubt you would need it BEFORE Thanksgiving but you definately would if you're going that weekend. I would try to get there at opening so you can get a jump on the lines...you might not need a two park if you can do the attractions you want early in the day.
