UNIVERSAL KONG RIDE LOOKS TO BE A BUST

It's just that it's screens...again...maybe if it was incorporated differently but it just seems the same old ride with a new backdrop:

  • Despicable Me
  • Shrek
  • Simpsons
  • Harry Potter Forbidden Journey
  • Escape from Gringots
  • Spiderman
  • Transformers
  • Kong
It just, to me, feels like the same experiences with little differentiating factors. I don't mind if it's screens but can something else be done with the experience

To be fair, FJ is the best attraction I've ever step foot on, screens or not.
That Kuka (sp?) arm tech is unreal. You should have seen me the second I got off the ride, I was giddy with excitement!
Simpsons, despicable me, and shrek are all just simulators to me, nothing to write home about, though the dome concept on Simpsons is cool, just made me green.

I haven't been on Spider-Man or gringotts, but they look more like a ride with screens rather than a seat that moves watching a movie?

Agreed about Forbidden Journey. IMHO it is the absolute best ride I have ever experienced.

Gringotts has some neat elements but is second tier. Kong looks ok. Nothing amazing but not bad. The bug scene would freak me out

Wait till you go on Grigots...that's a screen ride done right!

The thing about simulators like Spider-Man, transformers, and gringotts is, they are simulators, but you are moving around in different set pieces. So it's as much a screen based ride as it is with physical things around you.
