Attempting to be ambitious...buying 2parks/1 day ticket. Is it possible to see both parks in one day? Does anyone know crowd levels 3rd week in August? I'll be with 2 Tweens. Plan to see Shrek, Jimmy Neotron, Simpsons Ride possibly MIB ride at Universal however we've never been to IOA.

Crowd levels are still high that week...not as bad as July but still considerable wait times can be expected. Gone are the days of doing both parks in a single day. You will need to pick and choose which attractions you want to wait for but you won't be able to do everything...especially after Diagon Alley opens.

agree..You will need to pick and choose your priorities, but you will not get BOTH parks entirely done in one day

Is jimmy neutron still there? I thought it was replaced by shrek?

Jimmy Neutron was replaced by Despicable Me, also Transformers is completely new and worth going to as well. Shrek still exists.

Thanks! I didn't know Jimmy Neutron was replaced by Despicable Me. That's another one on our list. All the simulator rides are a must do for our family. Hopefully we can get in all the rides we want to see in one day. I remember going to Universal Studios 6 yrs ago and being done by 2pm. It was however the slow season.
