I am going on September 14 & only have that day to accomplish all of this. I am taking advantage of Mears Transportation from Pop Century with the 2 Parks/1 Day Ticket.

I want to visit WWOHP(FJ, Hippogriff & DC), Hulk, Spiderman, Cat in the Hat, Simpsons, Mummy, MiB, Rip Ride & Rockit & Shrek 4D & still be able to go to TNA Impact that night afterwards(as long as they're taping.) I can wait until after TNA to eat at HRC at City Walk then head back to my resort. I can skip Shrek & Cat in the Hat if needed but I wanted to be able to hit the major stuff I haven't done since the last time I went to UO was when Terminator opened.

I was just wondering how this is doable, the best possible way to do this & tips on how to accomplish this feat as I have only one day, I want to utilize single rider lines as much as possible & am park hopping as well.

All the help you guys can give me would definitely be appreciated! TIA!

You should know well in advance if the day you go to US will be a TNA taping day so I'll only give you a ride scenario. The only extra step involved in your day would be getting in line for TNA so it isn't much different anyway.

You would have to leave the Pop around 7:15am in order to get dropped off at Universal and have time to walk over to IOA so you'll be at a turnstile sometime close to 8am. In order to do everything you want to you have to be one of the first in line when the park opens for regular guests. Even then it may be iffy because you don't know how popular early entry for WWOHP is going to be. So even though you are the first regular guest you could have a long line ahead of you. The only way to find out about that is to keep reading trip reports on this forum ao you can get an idea of the crowds. Mid September means school is back in session so that could work in your favor schedulewise.

Do your HP stuff then Cat in the hat, Hulk and Spiderman. Head over to Universal and do the Simpsons, MIB, Mummy, Shrek then HRRR. Keep Disaster as an optional because the preshows take up a lot of time. Also, if you have done Earthquake the actual ride is essentially the same for Disaster with the exception that they have added a movie made from things you do in the preshow.

We've done all the major rides in both parks in a day more times than I can remember, so it's definitely doable.

The also will try to sell you Express passes. Don't buy them until you've lost all hope because they only get you one visit to each ride, way overpriced for what you get.

You'll have a busy day but the good thing is you won't have any trouble falling asleep at the Pop that evening.

Thanks for the help, getting a few detailed touring plans would definitely be appreciated. Ok a few questions.

1. Would leaving Pop earlier help?

2. When will Single Rider help? I heard FJ now has it.

3. How easy is it to get into Impact tapings & what are their line procedures plus do they sell TNA merch anywhere in the parks or CW and if so where?

TIA!

I've taken my son to TNA twice and it's easy to line up for the show. The entry is in the Studios and was close to the front where the old Nickelodeon Studios were. It's hard to explain so ask a TM particularly since they do move the line. I'd line up 45 minutes to an hour ahead of time. It used to be that you'd wait outside the gate until about 30 minutes before show time and then they'd walk you in to wait in another line outside the TNA building. They let the people in the Studios in first and then let in those waiting somewhere outside the park.

I would suggest sitting in the stands. Lots of TNA fans like to stand up the whole time and since they tape two or even sometimes three shows in a night, standing for that amount of time gets old.

I've never seen TNA merchandise anywhere except on a stand just outside the TNA entry doors.

Not really unless you wanted to stop somewhere for breakfast. 45 minutes to one hour early should get you very close if not right in front of the line for regular guests. If queues are forming earlier than that odds are you will hear about it here.

2. When will Single Rider help? I heard FJ now has it.

Since the ride isn't even officially open yet nobody can answer that question for you. Going by other rides that have single rider lines you can say it's usually faster but sometimes it actually takes longer than the regular line. If that's the case the attendant will usually warn you before you get in the line. We were warned like that at HRRR and he was right, it took longer than the regular line.

Planogirl already answered this for you.

I'm not 100% certain, since it's been a handful of months since I was last there, but last I knew in-park guests were lining up for TNA by the entrance to Rip Ride Rockit. Near the Twister gift shop.

They used to line up near Nick studios, as another poster said, but then when RRR got built things got shifted around a bit.

I'm pretty sure non park guests line up on Citywalk near the entrance to the Sharp Aquos Blue Man Group theater until after the park guests are in. Once park guests are in, the citywalk folk get escorted in, through the back alleys behind rip ride rockit.

(Like I said, this all could possibly have changed since last time I was there, I just think this method is a little more recent than the previously mentioned method.)

PS. I've never had a problem with people standing up as long as I was in the bleechers. The ringside area is definately standing room only though. I actually once had one of the TNA seating folk ask if I'd like to get right up rigside and I gave her a quick, "Nooooooo /snicker" lol, because I would NOT want to stand the entire two hour taping...

H*LL No,its not easy to get at ringside. We got in line last year with VIP seating arrangements at 330,we we third in line, until the line started to get longer in front of us.Alot of fussing, cussing & carrying on with the security guards about the situation & eventually after the dust settled, they removed no one from the line or made them go to the back of the line. There were people calling & texting their friends to come to the front, the security guards allowed all of this, apparently there are a ton of regulars that are there front every show ( watch the show, youll see the SAME faces every week).
Anyway,we got in on Tuesday night & it was fine, the third night that they taped ,Thursday, was when all of the BS took place, email me & I will tell you the whole ordeal, its really too long to explain here.
