Anyone know the hours for both parks? I saw a video and they were open until 9, but the website says 6.

They keep updating their calendar but on Saturdays and Sundays through October 17 they are open until 9pm right now. They are closing earlier through the week.

At least on the mobile version of the website link above the hours are wrong for this weekend at the moment. I don’t believe universal is closing at 5pm on a Saturday but 8pm on a Monday. The hours appear to be correct on the app.

Agreed. Universal seems to be updating the park-hours listed on their app more so than their website.

When they list their early park admission is that for onsite hotel folks?

On the webpage it has Volcano Bay closed Wed and Friday when it is closed on Tues/Thurs. The webpage does not seem to be accurate so I am hoping the mobile app is correct!

Yes, and preferred/premium AP holders

And those who purchase a Universal Vacation package (which can include partner hotels that are not considered "onsite".)

Currently, it looks like the site and the app are showing the same thing. Admittedly, I haven't done a lot of comparisons between them before, but maybe it's a caching issue??

The app is, by far, the easiest way to check, though. I hate the way the calendars work on the site, particularly if you are trying to check into the next month - choose the park, then choose the month. Want to check another park? You have to do the same process - choose the park, then choose the month.
