universal hotel cancellation policy

I'm a bit confused about the cancellation policy at universals hotels (specifically royal pacific).

It says > 46 days full refund. But it also says there is a $50 change fee.

So if I book a room for 2 nights and then cancel one of those nights (>46 days), do I have the $50 change fee?

What if I cancel both nights?

You are referencing the package cancellation policy.

If you book room only, there is no fee and no penalty to cancel up to 6 days out (pretty sure it is 6 days).

Changes are technically free but obviously you would pay the difference in rate if applicable. Or you can change to cheaper room and your reservation will get cheaper
