Universal Flex Ticket ...is it worth the money?

We will be in Orlando from 1/2/11 - 1/11/11 and we are considering the Universal Flex ticket, but I am wondering if it is the best deal and if it is worth the money? I really doubt we will go everyday, but all the other options dont seem to make sense when I crunch the numbers. A two three or four day ticket combined with Sea World is just as expensive as the Flex ticket. If the weather is warm I guess this is a mute point when you figure in the water parks but I am not optimistic about the temperature being warm enough to enjoy the water.

It's definitely the best deal if you are planning on going to the other parks. Plus if you go to one park, like Seaworld, in the morning and then hit another park, like Universal Studios, in the afternoon, you only pay for parking at the first park.

We bought the flex ticket a couple of years ago when we were in the Orlando area for 2 weeks. We thought it was a great deal! At the time ours included Universal, Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Wet n' Wild. We ended up going to a park every day except for one. I liked the fact that once I broke down the daily price I didn't feel we needed to stay in the parks all day to get our money's worth. Some days we spent 4 hours in the parks and the rest of the day at the pool.

We are used to buy the Orlando Flex Plus (including Busch Gardens) because we use 4 or 5 days at IOA/USF + 1 or 2 days at BGT + 1 day at SW.
If you are planning only 4 days at USF/IOA and 1 day at SW, it will be a little cheaper not buying the Flex. I checked undercovertourist ...

Park To Park 4 day - $143
Sea World 1 day get 2nd Free - $80
Total - $223

Orlando Flex = $247

But if you think you could use 1 more day, it will be better buying the Flex.
