Universal Express Pass Plus

We have bought the express plus pass at the parks upon arrival, but I am fearful that since we will be going 7/1-7/4 1) they will be more than the usual $20 we've spent going in May or 2) they will sell out before we get there (we take the shuttle from the hotel). Should I just go ahead and purchase the passes before we leave on our trip?

Yes. Purchase them in advance. They will sell out on busier days, and they are over $30/person during peak season.

When we looked into in for our trip next week it was $37/per person (per park). We wound up deciding to stay on-site. I'm sure someone else could answer if they get sold out.

That's usual price during the summer season and yes..they DO sell out when it's really busy.
