this will be the first time at Universal

myself, husband, kids 21, 18 and 12 - if we avoid the new harry potter area do you think that we will be able to do both parks in one day if we get there at opening and stay to close

Well last August I did everything in both parks and was out by 5pm. Now Harry Potter will certainly cause that time to grow so yes it depends on when you're going. If you stay on site, you'll have express passes to everything but Forbidden Journey and Rockit, so you'll pretty much zip through the rest of the rides.

we are going july 8 and 9 -

totally want to stay on site but am having a hard time justifying the price of $658 at royal pacific for two nights - NOT including tickets
