How do you get the 2 full days EP with a one nite stay if you have to check out by 12? Do you get to the park for early entrance for HP and then have to go back to check out? What do you do with your bags? I thought you had to have a room key for FOl access? Would you have your key after you check out?

Bell services hold your bags when you check out. Your key does not expire until midnight the day you check out. :)

Thanks for the info. So do you recommend checking out before you head over to IOA early entrance ?

I would unless you plan to be back in time for check-out.

Hi, our family of 4 are planning a trip June 2013. Planning to stay off site, but the idea of the express+ pass for our first visit to US is appealing so...
how early can we get the passes on check in day. In other words can we go to the hotel at say 7:00am and get the tickets in time for park opening at WWHP and get our room later that afternoon? And are the express+ good the entire check-out day as well?

That is exactly what we do. We try to be at the hotel at 7 am and that gives us lots of time to get to the parks for early admission. It is easy to just have bell services hold your luggage. The hotel will call you when your room is ready.

Yes, to both questions. :)

This depends...

Last trip I was down for a work event Mon & Tue during the week. So I went down Friday to spend 2 days at Universal (got to go Mon night too!). We stayed offsite Friday, onsite Saturday and offsite Sun/Mon.

I did this with a friend and on a past trip we did bluto's barges about 12 or so times in a row. So our goal was to beat this. So we decided we'd do this on Sunday and got to the park at opening ready to get wet.

We headed straight for Dragon Challenge as we always do. Rode it at least 4 times and then headed counter clock-wise back around. Stopped at HPFJ, Jurrassic Park, Dudley and then hit Bluto's barges. We went around 6 times without getting off and then did another 10 times looping around each time. I think we spent may 1.5 hours or something on it - perhaps a bit more. After we were thoroughly soaked, we headed back to the hotel to change, check out and then went back to the parks for the rest of the afternoon.

This way, we were able to get soaked but didn't have to be in wet clothes the rest of the day. We tend to do this everytime we go - plan a morning where we know we'll get wet.
