Universal early admission 8/05 and scooters

We plan to do a whirlwind day of Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure on Wednesday 8/05. We would like to start in one park, do the Harry Potter attractions there, move across the Hogwart's express to the other park, do the Harry Potter rides there, do the rest of the rides we want/feel we can fit in, go back to the first park and then wrap up with any remaining rides. Ambitious I know.

Here's the question. One of us will be renting an ECV/scooter. Currently we have a reservation to pick it up in IOA. Ideally we were thinking to do the Harry Potter attractions in the park that doesn't have the early admission for Universal resort guests first. Any way to know which park that will be on the 8/05 date? I might want to switch which park I use to pick up the scooter.

As an aside we understand you can drop off the scooter at Hogwarts Express and pick up another on the far side but can't take the scooter across City Walk. I would appreciate knowing if this is not the case and/or if anyone has had any issues with the scooter rentals or transfer between parks.

Have you thought about renting from walker mobilty?, they will deliver it to your hotel or home.
I am not sure about park to park. I know you can not take them out of the parks.
The train will put ecv's on with you, no need to leave it.Also what fews times we have rented
walker was always cheaper. As for which park has early entry,call one of the hotels they will know.
