I am going to be visiting Orlando for the first time in August. I noticed there are a lot of hotels along Universal Drive. Considering how long that road is, is there a good side and bad side of that road? Which end is closest to the attractions?

Universal Drive is a good road all the way up and down. Sheraton which isn't directly on U Dr. is a good hotel and probably the closest. I will say don't stay at the Comfort Inn off of Sand Lake Rd. and U. Drive. I have stayed there with a Girl Scout Troop. The breakfast was hard to get into with so many people. The rooms smelled bad and weren't very clean. HTH

Thank you for the tip.
