Hey Everyone,

Currently planning for a May or September trip to UO, and I was wondering what all of your favorite restaurants are besides the usual suspects (Mythos, Margaritaville, Cowfish, Toothsome, etc..). This could be restaurants you think are underrated, restaurants at the resorts, or even restaurants off-property (though hopefully relatively close). Looking for both counter-service and sit-down meals.

Giordano's is off property but very close, for pizza. We ordered ahead, to eat in the restaurant, but they do deliver to UO hotels
The Who Hash from Green Eggs/Ham in IoA was good, just tots w stuff on them, but good
THunder Falls for QS
The crepe stand in US supposed to be really good, but no personal experience.
NBC Cafe was good for QS sandwiches

Onsite

Strongwater Bar at Sapphire Falls...best bar in UOR and food is excellent.

Orchids Lounge @ RPR for Sushi

The Palm @HRH

Sal`s pizza @ PBH

Thunder Falls Terrace in IOA for excellent counter service

Bread Box in Citywalk

Offsite

Toojays Deli

Hot n Juicy Crawfish

High end steak and seafood Ocean Prime and Eddie V`s

Nagoya Sushi

All above offsite places are on or near Sand Lake Road

Teak Neighborhood Grill......about 10 minute drive from Universal

Beths Burger Bar on Universal Blvd

I`m sure there are hundreds more........

Another vote for Thunder Falls Terrace.

Had a sweet crepe at the crepe stand and it was heavenly!

NBC Grill is good quality, comfort food.

We actually liked Today Cafe at Universal Studios. Also Mel’s Drive In and Richter’s Burgers. For TS really enjoyed Finnegan’s. Also for a sweet near the Bourne Show was Schwab’s Pharmacy I think it was called that had Dole Whips among other things.

The savory smoked brisket and lemon blueberry crepes from Central Park Crepes at US were DIVINE!

Also the chorizo sausage sandwich and vegan italian sausage with peppers from the food truck near Rip Ride Rockit in US were great as well.

Thunder Falls
Crepe stand !!!
We had a very nice meal at Finnegans when we were there last month
Sals pizza at Portofino
Today cafe
I think Toothsome is overrated and very hit or miss
Vivo in citywalk is pretty good

Our favorite meal last week was at Red Oven Pizza Bakery. Our favorite snack was the Nutella and strawberry crepe at the crepe stand.

Give BiCE at Portofino Bay a try. It's a very high end Italian restaurant.
The Palm is a great steakhouse over at Hard Rock, also higher end.
