Universal Crowds July 3 and July 4

We will be doing both Universal Parks, which day should we choose for IOA?
Where are the July 4 fireworks? And a good spot to watch them?

I would do IOA on 7/3 only because the fireworks are mainly over at the Studios so go there on 7/4. The parks will be very busy both days.

We are going to be there those days too. But we decided to stay out of the parks on the 4th and get a cabana at Hard Rock so we can avoid the crowds.

But , I did read that the fireworks were at the Studios on the 4th. So you should head there that day if you want to see the fireworks.
