Universal CityWalk or Resort Dining

Hi Everyone.
Wondering what restaurants you suggest for theming to please two boys, 11 and 13 at Universal's CityWalk or any of the resort hotels as we will be staying onsite? We have been to Disney multiple times and these kids are used to the amazing theming that is a Disney restaurant

If you are Potter fans, try the Three Broomsticks and the Leaky Cauldron. Mythos is also great. HardRock is fun as is Antojitos. Thunder Falls Terrace is good and restaurant in the Jurassic Park building (forgot name) is fun- food nothing special though.

i gotta go with Hard Rock Cafe.
near the studios in city walk.

it's lively
it's loud
and has a decent menu.
you can check it out online.


and it is the largest HRC they have made.

the place is loaded with memorabilia, pictures, guitars, etc


free ice cream sundae if you say it is your birthday.

My oldest can't wait to try the HRC. He's been to a couple, and has shirts from many more. He wants to add to his collection...

The Three Broomsticks is our only dining experience at USO. It was good overall but not amazing or great. We had a large group and had difficulty eating together. It was Canadian spring break so it was busy. The restaurant décor was great and the ordering system effective. Food was good and Butterbeer is delicious. We are staying at HR Hotel this December 27 and 28 and I will be following this thread to help plan dining for these dates.

If they like superheros, the Captain America dining was one of my kids' favorites. Huge cut-outs of super heros! (The food is QS, burgers, chicken fingers, fries, etc)
