I've been reading that there are child switch waiting areas near the rides. The only two rides my 5 yr old can't do are Harry Potter and the Mummy ride I think. Do the waiting areas have things for them to do? Can you get a pass to come back later like at Disneyland or does the waiting party have to stay there and switch immediately after? Do they get right on the ride or wait awhile? Thanks!

When you reach the loading area they'll direct you to a waiting room. You will probably have to explain that you're going to use it several times as you go through the line. You don't get a pass, you have to wait in the room. There are some benches and TV showing HP movies. It's very dark, loud and hot with little air flow. You can swap more than once, so if you want to keep trading off they seem to allow that.
