Silly question here but I am more familiar with Disney characters and autographs/pictures. Are there a lot of Universal characters out in the parks? Do they allow photographs with quests? What about autographs? When we visit Disney we always walk away with a new autograph book filled with names but we have never attempted to get an autograph or photo at Universal. Just wondering if I should drag books along for a three day park visit or keep them packed for our Disney days

Thanks.

Pictures are definitely OK. You should note at least some of the meet and greet are done in front of Green Screen to encourage you to buy the picture or do a Photo Connect Package. I know several of the characters might have trouble "signing" an autograph book. Hopefully someone else will chime in if alternate arrangement are available I didn't do an autograph book. But, the arms on the Transforms, Minions, and Patrick (Spongebob) are not conducive to autographs.

Keep your autograph book out. Everyday when we were at the parks, there were a lot of characters walking around and lines would form to take pictures with them. Many signed autographs for kids after the picture was taken.

I've seen Minions, Shaggy & Scooby doo, Woody Woodpecker, Spongebob, Bart & Lisa Simpson, Bumblebee the Transformer and Doc Brown from Back to the Future. Gotten photos with most of these. I don't see why they wouldn't sign your autograph books too - at least the ones who physically could. I'm pretty sure I took my autograph book to universal when I was a kid.
