Universal area to WDW?

We're headed down in May/June, and we're doing the first three nights of our trip at a hotel by Universal. Because of the timing with F&G, we decided to head to Epcot on our arrival day.

What's the easiest way to get there typically? Cab? Uber? Lyft?

We're also then going on to stay on property for the remainder of our trip. Would it be cheaper to again take a cab/whatever else from Universal to Disney, or to head back to the airport and take the Magical Express?

Rental car is not an option.

I would think it would be about the same, cost wise. I would just go directly to Disney..going back to MCO is going in the wrong direction and will add a fair amount of time to your overall trip to WDW.
