Hiya

Just thought I would let you know, if any of you have the universal annual pass you can renew them now for $99 each

we have just renewed ours (even though they dont expire till december 06) so it will keep going till december 07, well worth it especially when horror nights come around as thediscounts quiet good.

plus its saved us money as the universal passes we were going to get were more than the renewal price

Yes Anna, we renewed our passes for $99 too - absolute bargain.

With all the discounts you get plus free parking too :thumbsup2

I take it that this can be done online, and is it the same price to upgrade from power passes to annual passes. I always have trouble trying to get into the passholders section of the website it always rejects the details on my ticket, so may be I would be best to phone up!!!

Yes, definitely phone is the best way to do it.

Can't find anywhere to do it online and trying to give my (very welsh) address to americans is nigh on impossible :(

Are you trying to renew Tracey or just buy for the 1st time?

Renew ready for the next trip which will be our last for a while *sigh*

I ended up e-mailing Universal to re-new :thumbsup2

annual.pass@universalorlando.com

The phone number is 1-866-pass-4-fun
or
407-224-5720

You need to re-new 30 days before the expiry date to get the $99 price.
Alternatively you can do it for $99 when you're at the parks - as long as it's before your expiry date (I checked 2 days prior to mine expiring and was quoted $99 at the desk :sunny: )

If you're wanting to upgrade your annual pass from a power pass to a preferred pass, it's cheaper to do that at the same time, rather than later ($30 on re-newal as opposed to $60 after the event)

They took a day or so to reply to the e-mails but it was all pretty easy :teeth:

Hope this helps.

Thanks ALison

I tried emailing them both from the email address you gave and directly via the AP website but my email just gets bounced back - no such recipient :confused3

Not sure what to suggest Tracey :sad2:

I checked my confirmation e-mail and that was the address - only difference being that the A of annual, and P of pass were capitals :confused3

our other AP holders able to access the passholder area on universals website - it just rejects my number!!!

No, it always rejected my numbers too which is why I ended up e-mailing them :confused3

I've just seen an offer on the Universal Site for buy one year get one year free.

Now you can Buy One Year and Get one FREE when you purchase a Preferred Annual Pass with a special coupon code from a Bealls Department Store receipt*.

Enjoy 2 years of park-to-park access to both Universal Studios Florida® AND Universal's Islands of Adventure®, FREE parking**, plus discounts on food, merchandise, and more!

Passes must be purchased by 9/30/2006 and activated by 12/30/2006.

We needed to upgrade 3 of our passes from power passes and this would have cost $129 each would have to be done this August so we would have only got half of next years trip out of these tickets.

For the extra $50 we can get 3 visits out of the new tickets :thumbsup2

The passholder ID number is the very large alpha/numeric number at the bottom of your AP card, the PIN number is the small numeric value to the far right of your name...I can log on ok.

Yep, that's the number I've frequently tried to put in Johnny, but with no joy :confused3

Can I suggest posting on the Universal Studios forum and explain that the e-mail won't work (and the address you've tried) :sunny:
