Universal Annual Pass processing

We bought AP's through AAA and are going down in two weeks. Does it take long for the front gate to process an annual pass? We are wondering if we should stop by on Saturday afternoon to do that, or if we can just show up a little early on Sunday morning.

If it's like the Costco passes, you fill out all the information online beforehand, then at the turnstile they just scan your paperwork, take your fingerprint and and print out your pass. Only takes a minute. The holdup in the line is always the people who have not done the online portion beforehand. When we last went my brother-in-law was that person, and they made him step aside and get everything done on his phone before they could print his pass and let him through.
