i found out about this board after i had booked last year, so i found out a lot of stuff after it was too late lol

so this time i am re searching first lol

last year we only done disney and not all of it i may add, but we had a good go at it, but my eldest ended up with bad tonsilitis and was in bed for 3 days

anyway this time again i want to mostly do disney but by next year dd1 will be 15 and i know she wants to go to universal

as off just now im planning all this on a tight budget, (ther is a chance that we might come into some money in jan but its as a result of a possible redundancy so im hoping we dont get the money but if we do dh has earmaked some of it for disney)

anyway, what can you suggest would a 1 day thing cover it, how can i keep the cost down we are 2 adults and 3 kids unfortunalty our middle son tunrs 10 just before we go well a few months, so its only one child price, although there never much in it between adult and child

ive had a look on line at universal site but im a bit confused.

i just need a rough idea as to how much money i am aiming to save

Would you want to go in both Universal and Islands of Adventure in 1 day? some people do but I think its too much.

price in brackets is cost incl tax converted to £
A 1 day 1 park ticket $73(£48)
To do both parks in 1 day it will cost you $90(£59)
2 day 2 park $100(£65)

7 day unlimited to both parks $100(£65)
14 day unlimited to both parks $120(£78)

These are prices direct, check other ticket sellers for offers, I would go for at least the 7 day ticket as its only £6pp more than a 1 day 2 park ticket, not worth struggling to fit in 1 day imo.

I would say that trying to do both parks in one day, especially as you haven't been there before, would be too much. It might be possible if you spent the extra on the Express Pass, but that will bump up your costs considerably depending on the time of year that you go.
My suggestion would also be to get a 2 park ticket that allows you multiple visits. The price difference is minimal and you will certainly get your moneys worth.
